Our God Lives

“The idols of the nations are silver and gold,

the work of human hands.

They have mouths, but do not speak;

they have eyes, but do not see;

they have ears, but do not hear,

nor is there any breath in their mouths.”

Psalm 135:15-17

But, Lord, You are the true God, the God of gods. You created silver and gold. The Rock of our salvation was established without human hand, but by Yours alone. Your mouth spoke the worlds into existence; Your words are life and power. Your eyes see everything; nothing is hidden from You. You have ears that hear when we call out to You. And there is breath in Your mouth. You are alive.

Praise Him! Not only is there breath in His mouth, the God of gods chose to share that breath and breathe life into dust to create man. He has given us the breath of life and eternal life through Jesus Christ. We now have the privilege as believers to breathe His life on this planet as we share the good news of Jesus Christ.

“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,

he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead

will also give life to your mortal bodies

through his Spirit who dwells in you.”

Romans 8:11

That is such good news!
