Merry Christmas!

Jesus came! May we receive and rejoice in the gift of salvation in Christ! Immanuel, God with us.

When the angel heralded the good news of Jesus’ birth to the shepherds, a multitude of heavenly hosts declared in Luke 2:14,

“Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace among those

with whom he is pleased!”

God offered peace with man by sending His Son to be the peace offering Himself on the cross. The window of salvation is open to all who believe in Christ for salvation. At His next advent that window will be closed, like the door in Noah’s ark. An angel will sound a trumpet and loud voices will proclaim,

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ,

and he shall reign forever and ever.”

Revelation 11:15b

Glorious relief and good news to those who believe. Terror for those who reject this offer of peace with God. By receiving the gift of salvation we will have eternal life and relationship with God!

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.

He will dwell with them,

and they will be his people,

and God himself will be with them as their God.”

Revelation 21:3

We do not want to miss that! Today is the day of salvation. May today be the day that many receive this glorious gift!
