A Study of the Book of Ruth: The Bride Says Come

The Bible speaks of Jesus as the Bridegroom and believers as His bride.  It speaks of a marriage supper at the end of the age when we are gathered back to Him.  A Study of the Book of Ruth:  The Bride Says Come is a verse-by-verse journey through the story of Ruth.  It heralds redemption, grace, and love with a focus on our coming Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.

Ruth is a true story of hard times with a happy ending.  It’s a story of redemption that tells of the ancestry of Christ, the Redeemer of the world.  It provides a picture of Jesus as our Bridegroom who came to save us – not just for a happy ending, but to gather us into a glorious and eternal new beginning.  This six week study will provide five lessons per week with opportunity for journaling; daily praise verses; and weekly memory verses as we see our own redemption story in Christ revealed in these pages of Ruth.

God used John the Baptist to prepare the way of Christ’s first appearing.  As He prepares the bride of Christ for the wedding supper of the Lamb, He is using us to prepare the way of Christ’s next appearing.  These are exciting times.  Oh, Lord Jesus, come!
