What a thrill to hold fast to the Lord as He accomplishes great things in the earth today. I wanted to share some highlights from Abide in Him this year, as you pray about where the Lord might have you direct your year-end giving. • I continue to teach a weekly class at Church of the Apostles – so grateful for their continued help and support. We will be in the book of Jonah beginning in January - come join us if you’re in the Atlanta area! You can register or find more information here if you’d like. I’m so thankful for all the groups and individuals that continue to use the Abide in Him studies to journey verse-by-verse through various books and chapters of the Bible. His Word is the vital spiritual nutrition we need. You can peruse our resources here.
• In February we launched the new website on our 11th Anniversary. So grateful to have that up and running!
• In June we published A Study of Exodus Part I: A God Who Rescues sharing lessons the Lord taught me during a personal traumatic trial.
• In October, I was thankful for the opportunity to share what the Lord has been teaching me about His Sovereignty through various Scripture passages at a conference in Palm Bay, FL at Grace Bible Sanctuary. I’m excited about bringing those same messages to the Women’s Retreat for Church of the Apostles at Callaway Gardens in February. Please register and attend if you can!
• The response to the Advent Devotionals He Will Be Great has been such a blessing! Thank you for your encouraging comments and messages. We are also receiving Bible Study requests from inmates already as the Lord allowed us to send over 4,000 copies into the GA prison system. With that amount of seed, I am praying for a huge harvest!
• Because of your prayers, help, and generosity we have also sent many Advent Devotionals into local ministries here in the Atlanta area. I connected with House of Cherith at City of Refuge where they serve and support survivors of human trafficking. It’s a wonderful ministry. Lord willing, I will start a Bible Study there mid-January. I would appreciate your prayer support.
• I’m excited about some possible projects on the horizon and will keep you posted. We have so much to praise Him for as we look back on all He has done in 2023! And we have so much to look forward to in 2024 as we continue to hold fast and allow Him to lead.
